Debatable Productions is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing a creative, supportive home for young artists ages 16-25. We offer little-to-no-cost creative opportunities, workshops, internships, and productions in film, theatre, and music. Since our founding in 2018, we’ve been striving to give a voice to those individuals that are passionate and talented, but who otherwise cannot afford the programs around them that cost thousands of dollars for just a few weeks of training or experience. This experience is considered necessary in order to get ahead in the arts industry or to pursue higher education. Debatable Productions is committed to making professional, progressive creative environments (such as performance opportunities in large-scale theatrical productions) financially accessible for teens and young adults in Los Angeles.
We delight in providing you with community engagement, opportunities, and entertainment, but ticket sales cover only cover some of our costs. It is only with donor support that our non-profit organization (Tax ID - #37-1925636) is able to achieve its mission and to create programs at a cost you can’t find elsewhere in the Los Angeles Area.
ESTEEMED FRIEND - $20
Any amount counts towards helping someone get theatre experience! As an Esteemed Friend, we will publish your name on our website.
THEATRE LOVER - $50
For those passionate about theatre and who would like to foster the next generation of theatre talent. We will publish your name on our program and website.
PROGRAM SPONSOR - $100
Support our mission and vision, this donation will sponsor 2 actors to participate at no cost in our production. Your name will be featured in our program and website.
PATRON OF THE ARTS - $250.
Help us foster new talent into the artistic community in our community. As a Patron of the Arts, your name will be published in our production’s program and our website, in addition, we want you to see what how your support has fostered the arts by providing you TWO complimentary tickets to our production on the day of your choice.*
*You must communicate your choice two weeks before the day of the show.
BENEFACTOR - $500.
If theatre is your passion, become our production’s Benefactor. Your contribution will help us cover the cost of 10 actors or all our props. This is of significant assistance to us. As a Benefactor, your name will be published in our program and our website, in addition, we would like you to see the show by providing you TWO complimentary tickets to our production on the day of your choice and a signed program by the entire cast.*
DISTINGUISHED BENEFACTORS - THREE LEVELS
We are committed to our mission and vision. We saw a need in the community for professional programs that can give the necessary experience to this age group. Often forgotten in the land between “too old for kid’s programs” and “not enough experience” for professional work, serious creatives find it hard to gather more experience while simultaneously working on more mature material. As a Distinguished Benefactor, you can help us deliver our programs at low or no-cost to the community. We offer three Benefactor levels:
SAPPHIRE - $1,000
At this level of support, you will make an impact by covering the cost of a production’s set design. As a Sapphire Benefactor, we will show our appreciation with 1/4 page acknowledgment ad in our production’s program, FOUR show tickets on the night of your choice,* a cast autographed program of our production, an ad on our website and invitations to any Debatable special events.
EMERALD - $2,500
Make a huge difference in our production by sponsoring the cost of our lighting and sound design. Emerald Benefactors, will be shown our appreciation with 1/2 page acknowledgement ad in our production’s program, FOUR show tickets on the night of your choice,* a cast autographed program of our production, an ad on our website and invitations to any Debatable special events.
DIAMOND - $5,000
A diamond is forever, as a Diamond Benefactor you can impact our production greatly by supporting the cost of the licensing fee forever affecting our company’s direction. Diamond Benefactors, are shown our immense appreciation with a full page acknowledgement ad in our production’s program, SIX show tickets on the night of your choice,* cast-autographed poster of our production, an ad on our website and invitations to any Debatable special events.
MARQUEE - $10,000
The name says it all! Get your name (your company’s name) in all our show’s promotions and advertising because your contribution will have an immense impact on any production’s success. From lighting, sounds, environment, location, licensing, this contribution can make our production a reality. To acknowledge our gratitude, you will receive;
